Let the Healing Begin

"Do you want to get well?” In John 5, we see Jesus ask this question to a man waiting by the pool of Bethesda; a site where many with infirmities went in hope that they would be healed. And while Jesus uses this question to refer to the man's physical body, I believe it is one that speaks also to the healing that needs to occur in our hearts. Whether it is from hurt, trauma, betrayal, or beliefs about who we are that stem from things in our past; Jesus desires to bring healing and change to our story. Are we willing to let the healing begin?
