Enjoy working with kids? UR Kids is a child and family-focused ministry of the Urban Refuge. We strive to help kids experience Christ while empowering parents to connect with their children as they walk together on their family's faith journey.
UR Helps
When a need arises, UR Helps team members are notified. We know that your capacity to help might change depending on what is going on in your own life, so being on the team doesn’t mean that you are obligated to say “yes.” It’s up to you to decide if it’s a need you can help meet!
Sunday Mornings
Serving others on Sunday mornings is an act of worship. We invite you to find a role that aligns with your giftings: welcome guests at the front door, praise Jesus as a band member, or make an impact behind the scenes through the creative use of audio, visual, or lighting production.

Help build an authentic community here at Urban Refuge by using your gifts and experiences to lead and encourage other women, men, young adults, parents, and families to connect with each other on their journey with God.
PRAYER
The Prayer Ministry is an intercessory group. Christ mediates on our behalf to draw us to the Father. Christ being the perfect sacrifice allows us to bring prayer requests to the Father. In prayer, the Holy Spirit strengthens our inner being. We know that healing can happen, and strongholds can be broken in Jesus’ name. The Prayer Ministry is a representation of God’s Kingdom that is at hand!
Numbers
Do you enjoy working with spreadsheets and numbers? When a church’s operational systems are organized, foundationally strong, and run smoothly- the entire church benefits.
Facilities
The Facilities Team supports ministry through stewardship of the building and by providing easy opportunities to serve for individuals and families. The Facilities Team supports ministry needs in a variety of areas including; maintenance, cleaning, lawn and snow care, building schedules, and new project design and development.
