Valley Fair Day for Y[2]W (youth worship week)! So much fun! Please join us at the Urban Refuge on Saturday evening at 7pm for a special night of worship with this team.
Sunday morning. This weekend is the annual UR campout at Baker Park, and instead of attending the service today at 5501 Chicago with us indoorsy types, these campers circled up for a time of worship and testimonies outside.
A Together for Good host family training was at our church tonight. We host these a few times a year. They are doing faithful work coming alongside vulnerable children and families in our city, and we are thankful to be able to serve them in this way!
The ladies had a beautiful time at last week’s “mug night.” Mug nights (and the outdoor version, a “patio party”) are casual get-togethers to provide women with a relaxing opportunities for meeting new people and for authentic conversation. You can come for the whole time or just drop in for a bit. We have a few more sprinkled throughout the summer. The next one is June 26th!
