In Our Community

There’s a word in ancient Hebrew, "shalom." In the English, it’s translated as “peace,” but it’s far bigger than that. Shalom means wholeness and well being. Shalom is the idea that all creation should be flourishing together under the arch of God and in His love. But so often we see the fabric of life unraveling emotionally, physically, and spiritually. This is our opportunity to engage with God to DO JUSTICE.

Harmony Matters Workshop

As a multi-ethnic community, we believe that compassionate and honest conversation can dismantle hostilities that divide us and that the church can be a foundational place where we can begin to mend what is broken and build a better future. We invite you to join us as we walk and learn together on our journey to harmony. Harmony within the kingdom is more than just multi-ethnicity; however, the scope and focus of this workshop is multi-ethnicity within the Kingdom.

Fill Their Plate

For the last 10 years, we have been bringing nourishment to those in need. We've accomplished this by partnering with churches and Christian schools in Haiti to distribute food. During packing sessions, volunteers package a specially formulated, dry, rice-soy casserole into serving size portions to be cooked by the feeding partners at their sites. Access to this food can be life-changing!

Dates and times vary. Upcoming packing sessions will be listed on our Events page.

Mission to Our City

Every summer our church sets aside the last week of July to head out into our city. We grow closer to one another as we offer the hope of the Gospel to our neighbors. This trip is the highlight of our year! Please join us as for our 20th year of Mission to Our City.
