PULSE aims to bring a message of hope to the Twin Cities with an event that's fun, engaging and impactful! Lecrae and Hillsong Young and Free will perform and Nick Hall will share a message. With Open Arms Minnesota

Saturday, May 19, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM, Open Arms of Minnesota (2500 Bloomington Ave, Minneapolis). Open Arms of Minnesota is a nonprofit that cooks and delivers free, nutritious meals to people living with life-threatening illnesses in the Twin Cities. Join us for this tangible way of loving our neighbors by cooking and delivering food to them, all while hanging out with our UR Young Adults community. I Am My Brother’s Keeper

We’re excited to have Dr. Charles Morgan be our Guest Speaker at the Urban Refuge on Sunday, April 29th. Dr. Morgan is an insightful communicator with a wide breadth of understanding of history, race, culture, socioeconomics, all in a biblical framework.

Dr. Morgan is CEO of Union Gospel Mission. He served as Founder and Senior Pastor of Resurrection Life Fellowship, a non-denominational Christian Church located in Westchester, California, for thirtythree years. Concurrent with his pastoral ministry, he was Vice President of Program at the Los Angeles Mission.Check out his full Biography HERE.

Men’s Game Night

Saturday, April 28, 6:30-10:00 PM, Emanuelson-Podas (7705 Bush Lake Rd, Edina) We’re having another night of games, fellowship, food and fun. A ping-pong tournament will be under way this time! Multi-Ethnic Conversations Study Kick Off

Sunday, April 29, 11:45 AM-1:00 PM, Gathering Room. As a continuation of the Bridge Builders sermon series, the Harmony Team invites you to join us for an eight-week study that is rooted in God’s Word. Together, through daily readings, thought-provoking questions, and group discussion, we will seek to build cross-cultural relationships and increase cross-cultural competence in a diverse body of Christ. On Sunday, April 29, all participants will gather for lunch right after the service to discuss specifics of the study and to pick up books. Small groups start the week of May 6, with both Sunday morning and Wednesday evening options. $10 registration fee covers the cost of the book. Please register on our app or online HERE. Questions? Bryan Stevenson is one of the country’s most visionary legal thinkers and social justice advocates. A MacArthur fellow and founder of the Equal Justice Initiative, Stevenson is a founding leader of the movement against mass incarceration in the U.S. He recently served on President Obama’s task force on 21st-century policing.

Kids ages 4-11 are invited to participate, while youth ages 12+ and adults are needed as volunteers. Watch for more details coming later this spring!

Calling All Servants!

2018 GCC Pastors & Leaders Conference

June 21-22, Evergreen-Bloomington. Our churches are affiliated with Great Commission Churches (GCC). Each year, GCC has a pastors & leaders conference somewhere in the U.S. This year, it will be held at Evergreen-Bloomington. We will be hosting over 200 GCC pastors and leaders and we need your help! There will be lots to do like set up and tear down and food services and ushering and more. One benefit of serving, you will be able to attend any of the conference messages that occur when you’re not scheduled to serve. We're also looking for donations of baked goods for tthe break times.

UR Fit

Urban Refuge-Downstairs, various days. Join us for some faith-based fitness fun! Classes will encourage everyone, regardless of age or ability, to become more prepared (more fit) to live lives that are healthy and whole so that we are better able to love God and others.
