Sunday, June 10, 6:00-8:00 PM, Sanctuary. Sankofa is a West African word meaning “looking back in order to move forward.” Join us as we journey back and look into the inspired time of the Civil Rights meetings of the 60’s. We’ll sing music from that era, view a moving video about those times, and hear a stirring message about how we can keep moving forward. Stay after and make some new friends during an old fashioned ice cream social. We'll be partnering with Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church to bring you this great event. Invite your friends, too!
