Kids Against Hunger
Kids Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. The South Metro satellite was launched at The Urban Refuge in March of 2008. A second location at Evergreen Community Church - Bloomington launched in February 2009. During our packing sessions volunteers package Kids Against Hunger's specially formulated rice-soy casserole into serving size portions to send to people in need.

Kids Against Hunger 5K/10K Run/Walk
Saturday, June 16, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Lake Calhoun. Set your planners for the 3rd annual Fill Their Plate Run! You can choose a 5K Run/Walk or a 10K Run. We also have 1/4, 1/2 and 1 Mile Fun Runs for the kids! Online registration opens soon at www.filltheirplaterun.org, and you may now raise additional funds to help purchase, pack and ship more meals to Haiti!
